Wind Farm Safety

Both onshore and offshore wind farms, under normal operating conditions, require no supervision and are capable of operating autonomously, as system operation and management are performed remotely.

Workers are present on site during ordinary or extraordinary maintenance, inspection, and overhaul activities, operations that require access to high levels, such as the control cabins located at the top of the turbine, and work on it.

Safety conditions must be maintained even in all those situations where the emergency requires the evacuation of the operator in a very short time (fires, structural instability, etc.)

In these particular cases, anchor points for work phases on the cabin and suitable products (Uniscala, TS-Arrester – TS Anchor Cable) intervene in favour of safety.
